WR Reynolds breaks leg

WR Reynolds breaks leg

Bad news for you Iowa State fans. Yesterday, WR Darius Reynolds broke his leg in practice–fracturing his fibula. Reynolds will be out of commission for at least one month. This is a significant loss to an injury prone Cyclones team that doesn’t have much talent to begin with. Basically, Reynolds, as a juco transfer and 1st year starter, is the 2nd leading receiver on the team.  As a top receiver, he has only amassed 13 receptions for 72 yards. As of now, there is no word regarding Reynolds’...

Oregon CB Walter Thurmond’s career as an Oregon Duck is over. Lee doubtful against Illinois

Lee doubtful against Illinois

Penn State’s star LB Sean Lee is still doubtful for this Saturday’s match-up against Illinois. He is currently rehabbing his injured knee from the Temple game. Even if he gets back to 100% by Saturday, he will not be in game shape because of the long layoff. However, if Lee plays or not, it shouldn’t be too much of a concern as PSU’s defense is playing great ball considering its youth and on-going injury problems. What should concern the Nittany Lions is their...

No Tweet For You!

No Tweet For You!

Texas Texas coach Mike Leach is making some changes in Lubbock. No, Texas Tech isn’t making coaching adjustment on the football field, but rather with his players’s twitter accounts. Leach has banned members of the Red Raider football team from twittering. The change in his policy comes after TT linebacker Marlon Williams twitted that he wondered why he was expected to be on time for a team meeting when his linebacker coach himself was running late. Leach and company...

New Mexico coach Mike Locksley has tensions high in Albuquerque this season, and I’m not just talking about on the gridiron either. The first year head coach was issued a verbal reprimand after getting into a fight with his assistant coach. Locksley and WR coach J.B. Gerald had gotten riled up during a coaches meeting when Locksley grabbed Gerald’s collar and punched him the the mouth. Gerald told police what had happened and that Locksley had split his lip. New Mexico...
