LB Sean Lee saw no action against Iowa and is doubtful this Saturday in PSU's first road game against Zook's demoralized Illinois squad

Penn State’s star LB Sean Lee is still doubtful for this Saturday’s match-up against Illinois. He is currently rehabbing his injured knee from the Temple game. Even if he gets back to 100% by Saturday, he will not be in game shape because of the long layoff.

However, if Lee plays or not, it shouldn’t be too much of a concern as PSU’s defense is playing great ball considering its youth and on-going injury problems. What should concern the Nittany Lions is their offense. Aside from the first play from scrimmage against Iowa, there was absolutely no offense and Daryll Clark did nothing to improve his Heisman hopes

Prior to the Iowa game, the offense showed signs of promise but that was against sub-par defenses. Iowa’s defense isn’t even tops in the nation and we all saw how much the team struggled. Hopefully, leaving the confines of Beaver Stadium and the pressure of playing and winning in front of your home crowd will get the Nittany Lions back on track. After all, Illinois just got rocked by Ohio State and there is nothing better than kicking a team that is already down.
