TT Coach Mike Leach Bans Twitter

Texas Texas coach Mike Leach is making some changes in Lubbock. No, Texas Tech isn’t making coaching adjustment on the football field, but rather with his players’s twitter accounts. Leach has banned members of the Red Raider football team from twittering.

The change in his policy comes after TT linebacker Marlon Williams twitted that he wondered why he was expected to be on time for a team meeting when his linebacker coach himself was running late. Leach and company were not too happy about that information being leaked to the general public. Leach said,”I think that a guy who plays college football gets enough attention,” he said. “We’ll put mirrors in some of their lockers if that’s necessary, but they don’t have to Twitter.”

Texas Tech has lost their last two football games and are looking for answers to help get them back on the right track. This upcoming Saturday’s matchup against New Mexico should help to get them going in the right direction. It will be their last contest before they enter the heart of their Big XII schedule.
