USC RB Stafon Johnson was injured earlier today during a  weight lifting incident. Johnson was bench pressing when the weight slipped from hands and landed on his throat. A source from USC said that Johnson was coughing up blood and bleeding out his nose immediately after the incident. Johnson was taken to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. Tate Forcier’s heroic efforts in Saturday’s comeback win against Indiana provided much needed relief to a Wolverine team clawing its way back to the promised land.
