The Miami Hurricanes are entering tomorrow night’s showdown against Florida State with more injuries than a M*A*S*H episode. The ‘Canes will play Florida State tomorrow night down two defensive players. Defensive back Ryan Hill, and safety Vaughn Telemaque, were injured on Saturday during the last Miami practice before their season opener. The NCAA has cleared Alabama’s Julio Jones and Mark Ingram to play in this weekend’s game against #7 Virginia Tech. ‘Bama defensive end Brandon Deaderick was shot in the arm during a robbery attempt in Tuscaloosa last night. The suspect, who police are still searching for, approached Deaderick in the parking lot of his apartment complex and demanded that he “give it up”. He then shot Deaderick in the arm after he refused to comply. The injury suffered is non-life threatening but Deaderick was kept in the hospital overnight for observation.
