Wright Academically Ineligible for '09 Season
USC’s Shareece Wright is academically ineligible for the 2009 college football season. USC coach Pete Carroll broke the news Monday evening,“Shareece didn’t get it done. He didn’t get the GPA he needed to get.” Wright was expected to start at cornerback for the Trojans this season. He started in the first two games for USC last season but was forced to miss the rest of the year after suffering a hairline fracture in his neck during practice the third week of the season. Wright will more than likely be replaced by Josh Pinkard. Pinkard started at CB last season but was moved to safety heading into this season
