Moncur To Miss Monday's Opener Against FSU
One can’t help but to feel sorry for Miami DE Eric Moncur. It looks as if the 6th year senior will more than likely miss Monday’s Sunshine State Showdown against Florida State with a groin injury. Moncur flew to Philadelphia on Monday to see a specialist and to get a second opinion on his groin discomfort . Moncur missed 9 games last year after suffering an abdominal muscle tear and was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA as a result.
Moncur is a heck of a football player and it’s unfortunate that he’s had to suffer through so many medicial issues. Hopefully the latest injury will heal sooner rather than later and he can get back on the football field for his final year of eligibility.
