Oregon Comes Up Roses!

Oregon is headed to Pasadena for a January 1st Rose Bowl date with Ohio State. Oregon hasn’t played in the Rose Bowl since 1995. Thursday night’s edition of the Civil War had high stakes with the winner claiming the Pac-10 crown and an all expense paid trip to sunny California for the holidays. The game lived up to all its hype as Oregon won 37-33 after converting on two crucial fourth down attempts on its final drive. Oregon State played...

Blount is back

This may come to you as a shock, but the Pac-10 commissioner, Larry Scott, has just approved the request to reinstate Oregon’s LeGarrette Blount. After an immediate suspension following the Boise State punch heard around the (college football) world, Scott believes Blount has paid dearly for his actions and is now cleared to play to salvage any hopes of entering the NFL. I am “convinced LeGarrette Blount paid a significant and appropriate price for the mistakes he made on the...

There was a time with Mitch Mustain was one of the most highly touted recruits in the country. He committed to Arkansasand people in Fayetteville thought that they’d see multiple national championships with him behind center. Mustain was one of the most decorated HS recruits in history winning the 2005 Gatorade, Parade, and USA Today player of the year awards. My how the times have changed. Fast forward four years and not only is Mustain not at Arkansas, but he’s so far back...

No timetable has been set for Moore’s return but the Bruins are hoping to have him back sooner than later. He already has a NCAA high 5 interceptions...

Oregon CB Walter Thurmond’s career as an Oregon Duck is over. Thurmond has had an illustrious career at Oregon and had a strong start to the 2009 season by scoring two touchdowns in three games. One...
