Disgraced former Georgia athletic director Damon Evans leaves behind what could have been a lasting legacy in Athens, GA. Evans was arrested last Wednesday in Atlanta and charged with DUI after police observed Evans’ BMW swerving from lane to lane. The Florida Citrus Bowl is getting a new look. The Orlando City council voted yesterday to approve dealings with AstroTurf that will bid farewell to grass and hola to turf.   Alonzo Lawrence was once a Parade All-American and the southeast region’s 8th ranked recruit according to the Mobile Press-Register.  In 2008 Lawrence signed a letter of intent and headed off to Tuscaloosa to play college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Florida wide receiver Frankie Hammond ran the WR jet streak a little too well early this morning in Gainesville, Fl. The 20 year old sophomore from Hollywood, Fl, was arrested at 2:09am and was apprehended and taken to the Alachua County jail.
