Pelini Sends Clear Message to Team

Pelini Sends Clear Message to Team

Nebraska’s legs just took a hit this weekend. Coach Bo Pelini dismissed Quentin Castille from the Cornhuskers. Per the norm, Castille’s dismissal was for violation of team rules. Pelini is a strict enforcer of team rules and believes everyone on the team must abide by the rules regardless of where the player stands on the depth chart. “It’s pretty black and white my expectations and what we lay out as a staff, and if someone doesn’t follow those policies...

The players are being told to stay in their apartment or dorm and the team will treat them there. Two players have already been tested positive. Since the effected players have minor like symptoms, they should bounce back and be on the field shortly as soon as they are cleared by the team’s physician, Greg Stewart.

Former LSU and starting Jacksonville State QB Ryan Perrilloux has been suspended for the home opener against Georgia Tech. The team issued a statement saying Perrilloux was suspended for violating team rules (as if we haven’t heard that before). Kassanavoid the Police

Kassanavoid the Police

The 3rd string QB spot may have just opened up at Kansas State. Freshman QB Joseph Kassanavoid was arrested last night for misdemeanor battery charges. Coincidentally, a 21 year old female, Ashleigh Brooke Mitchell, was also arrested at that same address. This seems to be eerily familiar to the Upshaw incident. Lt. Michael Quintanar of the Riley County Police Department would not release any other details regarding the arrests. K-State’s athletic director did not comment as to Kassanavoid’s future...
