Freshman Kassanavoid was arrested Thursday night
The 3rd string QB spot may have just opened up at Kansas State. Freshman QB Joseph Kassanavoid was arrested last night for misdemeanor battery charges. Coincidentally, a 21 year old female, Ashleigh Brooke Mitchell, was also arrested at that same address. This seems to be eerily familiar to the Upshaw incident.
Lt. Michael Quintanar of the Riley County Police Department would not release any other details regarding the arrests. K-State’s athletic director did not comment as to Kassanavoid’s future with the team.
