Nebraska’s legs just took a hit this weekend. Coach Bo Pelini dismissed Quentin Castille from the Cornhuskers. Per the norm, Castille’s dismissal was for violation of team rules. Pelini is a strict enforcer of team rules and believes everyone on the team must abide by the rules regardless of where the player stands on the depth chart.
“It’s pretty black and white my expectations and what we lay out as a staff, and if someone doesn’t follow those policies and guidelines, they’re no longer going to be with the program, and that’s the case with Quentin,” exclaimed Pelini.
For you Cornhusker fans, this is a big hit for the running game as Castille, who had a great Gator Bowl, was expected to make a significant impact this season behind RB Roy Helu. One possible candidate to fill the void is freshman running back Rex Burkhead from Texas.
Either Way, the message is clear, BO KNOWS TEAM RULES, SO SHOULD YOU!
