Alabama junior running back Mark Ingram is set to return home to central Michigan this upcoming Saturday and the whole Flint community will honor Mark’s return with a Heisman Homecoming Celebration. Mark Ingram Sr., father of Alabama Heisman winner running back Mark Ingram, was sentenced to an additional 2 years in the federal prison system earlier today. The NCAA has cleared Alabama’s Julio Jones and Mark Ingram to play in this weekend’s game against #7 Virginia Tech. Jones and Ingram were under investigation for participating in a fishing trip paid for by Alabama businessman Curtis Anderson earlier this year. The almighty organization is investigating whether or not a chartered fishing trip made by ‘Bama  football players, Julio Jones and RB Mark Ingram, was in violation since it was paid for by  Athens, GA business owner, Curtis Anderson. What makes the situation interesting though is the fact that  Anderson, who accompanied Jones and Ingram, suffers from degenerative disk disorder. The Crimson Tide’s depth chart at RB took a hit this week. Sophomore RB Jeramie Griffin tore his ACL during a Tuesday night practice on turf.
