Welcome Back Corso!

Lee Corso will return to the set of ESPN’s College GameDay Saturday morning after suffering a stroke on May 16th of this year. Down And Out In Miami

One can’t help but to feel sorry for Miami DE Eric Moncur. It looks as if the 6th year senior will more than likely miss Monday’s Sunshine State Showdown against Florida State with a groin injury. Moncur flew to Philadelphia on Monday to see a specialist and to get a second opinion on his groin discomfort . Not Retiring After the Season?

In an effort to catch Joe Paterno and claim title to the winningest coach in D-1 college football history, sources have revealed that Florida State’s Bobby Bowden does not plan on retiring at the end of this season. As of now the severity of his injury is still unknown. Cooper has been a solid rushing threat (841 yds. in 2008) for the Canes and the hope in Coral Gables is that he’ll be healthy sooner than later. The Canes open the 2009 season on September...

Owens is Sentenced for his DUI

Florida State’s Rod Owens resolved his April DUI this past Wednesday. His sentence was fair considering the events that surrounded his arrest. He received 6 months probation, 50 hours of community service, six months of having his drivers license revoked, and DUI school. At the time of his arrest, the team suspended Owens indefinitely, but since this matter is now resolved he may be looking at only a one game suspension. FSU has had problems in the past at...

Since 1992, Florida State and Virginia Tech have won a combined 15 ACC titles. Since Florida State and VaTech represent the Atlantic and Coastal divisions respectively, there is a good chance the two teams will meet in the ACC title game. But before I discuss that game, let's look at some of the teams who will make some...
