Cooper Is Latest Injury Victim for the Canes
Miami starting RB Graig Cooper is the latest Miami Hurricane to fall victim to injury. Cooper was hurt during the Canes’ practice on Monday with a right leg injury and was wearing a protective boot on his right foot yesterday. As of now the severity of his injury is still unknown. Cooper has been a solid rushing threat (841 yds. in 2008) for the Canes and the hope in Coral Gables is that he’ll be healthy sooner than later. The Canes open the 2009 season on September 7th at Florida State.
