Can you kick it? No I can’t!

USF and Skip Holtz were just about lined up to offer star high school kicker Marvin Kloss a grey shirt for the 2010 season with the opportunity to be placed on scholarship for the 2011 season. Hearing of this news, Kloss decided to celebrate as any normal high school teenager would by reveling at the neighborhood house party. During this party, Kloss presumably got drunk and decided to practice the snatch and grab play. Regrettably, the play didn’t quite...

West Virginia is limping at QB

Concerns are on the rise at West Virginia as QB Geno Smith will miss spring practice due to a broken foot injury. The heir apparent to Jarrett Brown broke his foot while participating earlier this year in team conditioning drills. Smith’s injury was originally going to sideline him for six weeks, but his continued pain and slower than anticipated recover is keeping him on the bench this spring. This should cause concern for the Mountaineers since their depth chart at QB is...

The Mouth of the South keeps Running

Lane Kiffin hasn’t even been USC’s head coach for 3 months, yet he’s back to running his mouth again. College football’s resident court jester has given the press plenty of fodder since his arrival at Tennessee last year and it looks like the LA media outlets will have their fair share of sound bytes from him. In a recent interview with Sporting News columnist Matt Hayes, Kiffin claimed that he would have won an SEC championship he had stayed with...
