Head Coach Terry Bowden's tenure at North Alabama may be coming to a quick end as he is a front-runner for the Memphis position left by Tommy West's departure

In the wake of Memphis’ Tommy West’s departure, potential head coach replacements have already been named in Tommy Tuberville and Terry Bowden. Tuberville and Bowden are the front-runners for the position.

Tuberville’s resume includes the former head coaching job at Auburn. Meanwhile, Bowden is the current coach at Div. II North Alabama.

Others being considered are Auburn’s offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn, LSU’s assistant Larry Porter, and Florida’s defensive coordinator Charlie Strong.

Unfortunately, The Matador is not under consideration.
