Senior LB Akeem Dent may be sidelined from the Bulldogs’ September 4th season opener against Louisiana-Lafayette as he is recovering from a left first toe injury. Last week, Dent injured his toe in an off the field incident. Earlier today, he underwent outpatient surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia to repair the damaged toe. Iowa’s Broderick Binns was arrested early Friday morning and charged with drinking and driving after being pulled over at the intersection of Benton Street and Greenwood Drive in Iowa City.
