Washington State redshirt freshman quarterback Connor Halliday made his first career start Saturday versus the Utah Utes, but unfortunately he might have made his last, at least for this season. During Wazzu’s thrilling but heartbreaking 30-27 OT loss to Utah, Halliday took several hits to the body throughout the game causing Halliday to suffer a lacerated liver. Notre Dame and Maryland will meet on November 12, 2011, at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. As of last year, Notre Dame’s athletic department decided to play one home game a year away from South Bend. Arizona State’s Dennis Erickson stands strong. During the 3rd quarter of today’s game, one of his players, Gerell Robinson, was knocked out of bounds and as a result, accidentally ran into Erickson knocking out the veteran coach.
