Dennis Erickson gets knocked out in the 3rd quarter, but is able to shake it off
Arizona State’s Dennis Erickson stands strong. During the 3rd quarter of today’s game, one of his players, Gerell Robinson, was knocked out of bounds and as a result, accidentally ran into Erickson knocking out the veteran coach. Erickson, albeit a little woozy, got back up, sat on the sidelines, and then continued to coach Arizona State to a 27-14 victory over Washington State.
When asked about the hit, Erickson stated, “they knocked me colder than a cucumber, I was down and out.” However, shortly after the hit, he was able to shake it off and continue to do what he does best–to Win.
