Former Trojan D.J. Shoemate defects to UConn

Not to sound like a broken record, but USC is again feeling the burn from the NCAA’s torching of the program. RB/WR D.J. Shoemate is leaving the school and heading to the greener pastures of UConn. Fans should appreciate that Shoemate didn’t downplay his reason for transferring. He simply stated it was a business decision. During his SC career he only amassed 2 yards total on the ground and with the talent at RB he would never have seen...

He played an integral part in USC’s sanctions and was ultimately forbidden by the NCAA and the university from contacting recruits going forward. Rather...

Entering 2010, Campbell was concerned about playing time and as an upperclassman didn’t want to transfer knowing he would have to sit out for a year. With the NCAA coming down on USC, an exit door was just opened. Campbell saw an opportunity to transfer and to immediately start for another...

Former Sooner Jameel Owens (#4) was cleared by the NCAA to play in 2010

On Monday, WR Jameel Owens got some good news from the NCAA. Owens, a former Oklahoma Sooner top-prospect, transferred to Tulsa to be closer to his sick mother. Per NCAA rules, players are required to sit out one year when transferring between D-1 schools. Owens petitioned the NCAA to waive the transfer rule citing family health reasons.
