Bronco safety Jason Robinson was suspended indefinitely for violating unspecified team rules. Mum’s the word on the Boise State campus as athletic officials are keeping a tight lid on the specifics of his infractions. However, what is known, is that Robinson won’t be putting the pads on any time soon. Robinson is best known for his performance in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl where he recorded a tackle for a loss, and a key pass deflection that helped propel BSU to victory. While not a...

Utah still sticking with their man…for now

Utah commit, Tyler Shreve, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery on a school official following an altercation with his high school baseball coach last week. On February 24th, Shreve was informed by Redlands East Valley High School head coach James Cordes that he was being dismissed from the team.  Shreve, unhappy with the news, wrestled Cordes to the ground before being pulled off of the coach by his father. Here We Go Again….

It is customary tradition that the president of the United States host championship winning collegiate and professional teams at the White House during the spring. Alabama will be making their trip at some...

Times are good in Boise, Idaho. No, a new Mormon temple isn’t opening, but the football team is heading to Phoenix, Arizona for the Fiesta Bowl. The football team will be minus three freshman. WR Preston Minter, RB Malcom Johnson, and CB Raphiel Lambert were M.I.A. when the team arrived in Phoenix this morning. Rather than joining the team in the Valley of the Sun, the three amigos will be watching while freezing in the 20 degree Boise weather....

Boise State is looking for some competition

On its face, it looks like no BCS team wants to schedule a road game against Boise State with no home game in return. Boise State is trying to fill a void in their 2011 season schedule. Even the WAC commissioner, Karl Benson, is trying to help Boise State land a BCS team. Benson is claiming that as many as 10 schools have turned downed a request to play the Broncos. However, what Benson isn’t talking about is that...

Harper Forced To Hang Up The Cleats

Boise State running back D.J. Harper will more than likely miss the rest of the 2009 season with a torn ACL.  Harper went down injured on Friday’s road victory against Fresno State. Boise State’s offense will definitely feel the void of Harper’s production as he is currently the Broncos’ second leading rusher. Head coach Chris Petersen informed the media of Harper’s injury during Monday’s press conference,   “It’s hard on all of us, it’s hard on the offense and it’s hard...
