Bronco safety Jason Robinson was suspended indefinitely for violating unspecified team rules. Mum’s the word on the Boise State campus as athletic officials are keeping a tight lid on the specifics of his infractions. However, what is known, is that Robinson won’t be putting the pads on any time soon.
Robinson is best known for his performance in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl where he recorded a tackle for a loss, and a key pass deflection that helped propel BSU to victory.
While not a starter in the Boise secondary last season, Robinson played a vital role in special teams and won the team’s Hammer Award for his stellar special teams play this past season. The Broncos will definitely miss his presence if he’s not reinstated for the upcoming college football season.
