Rich Brooks announced today that he will not return as Kentucky’s football coach next season. Brooks is stepping down after seven years as the team’s coach. Joker Phillips, the team’s offensive coordinator, will replace Brooks. Phillips was named the team’s coach in waiting two season ago. South Carolinais heading into Saturday’s match-up against Kentucky without star TE Weslye Saunders. Saunders injured his ankle in last week’s beat-down of South Carolina State.
