Wilson's streak comes to an end

Pass attempt 380 proved to be fateful for North Carolina State‘s Russell Wilson. During this past Saturday’s match-up against Wake, Wilson’s 379 consecutive passes without an interception came to an end. Wake Forest’s Josh Bush was responsible for ending the record breaking streak when he picked off a poorly thrown deep ball in the second quarter for Bush’s first career interception. Bush successfully returned the INT for 61 yards down the sideline.

Wilson now holds the NCAA record of consecutive passes without an interception at 379. His last interception came on September 19, 2008 against Clemson. The previous record holder was Kentucky’s Andre Woodson, who threw 325 passes without an interception.
