Kentucky's Locke suffers broken arm from moped accident

Kentucky’s Derrick Locke will be put on the disabled list after sustaining injuries from a moped accident yesterday night. The do-it-all tailback for the Wildcats fell from his moped last night and broke a bone in his forearm while trying to catch his balance.  UK spokesman Tony Neely told the Louisville Courier-Journal that Locke will not need surgery to repair the damage done to the arm, and that he expected Locke to be fully recovered by the time the Wildcats begin fall practices later this year.

Locke led the ‘Cats in rushing last year with 908 yards and 6 touchdowns. He also boasted an SEC 2nd best 152.5 yards per game. Opposing conference coaches are rumored to be looking to install the 3-4 moped defense to help stop Locke this upcoming season.
