When The Matador thinks college football, Kenny Chesney does not come to mind. It pains me to think that part of Chesney will be incorporated into every single ESPN/ABC college football game this season. Last fall Kenny Chesney was at a Nashville dinner with play-by-play announcer Brett Musburger, football analyst Kirk Herbstreit and producer Bill Bonnell. Lion’s Last Roar

Lion’s Last Roar

Today, Edward “Ted” Kennedy is being memorialized at Harvard by flying the U.S. flag at half-staff to recognize this legendary lawmaker. The football team is also grieving in its own way by draping his #88 jersey in his old college football locker.  Coach Tim Murphy also observed a moment of silence after this morning’s practice to honor Kennedy’s greatness and service to the country. In an effort to boost income for the Tigers’ program, LSU fans can rent suites from the new Alex Box Stadium during LSU’s 7 home games. There are 17 coveted suites for the serious football tailgater. Each suite will come with 24 suite passes and six parking passes. If you don’t feel like leaving the comforts of the suite, the Tigers’ games will be aired on the viewing monitors all throughout the suite and on the baseball field’s jumbo-tron. If you do decide to...
