FedEx Field Will Host the 2010 Penn St. v. Indiana Game
Penn St. and Indiana University have agreed to play a conference game in the Nation’s Capitol next season. The two will face off in a Big Ten contest at Washington’s FedEx Field on November 20th, 2010. The original game was to be played at Indiana but a nice 3 million dollar payout was enough to change IU’s mind.
The game is sure to attract a number of Penn St. fans as many alumni live in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Penn St. has quite a few players on their roster from Washington, Northern Virginia, and Maryland, who will be be playing in front of a home crowd.
FedEx field is also hosting the Boise St. vs. Virginia Tech match up on October 2, 2010. It looks as if Dan Synder has found another way to make money, this time off of the college football market.
