She's Taking Half???
Arizona head coach Mike Stoops and his wife have filed for divorce. Stoops, (younger brother of OU headcoach Bob Stoops) made the announcement earlier this week during his weekly press conference. “Sadly, I must make the announcement today that my wife Nicole and I have separated and will be taking the difficult step of a divorce,” Stoops said in a statement. “This is a very hard time for us. But more so for our two young children as this is a very personal matter.”
Something must be in the air down in Tuscon as former Wildcat basketball coach Lute Olson recently went through a divorce with his wife last year. If Mike Stoops doesn’t produce a winning football program this season he’s likely to go through another divorce when Arizona leaves him for another coach.
