Bradford to sit vs. Kansas

Bradford to sit vs. Kansas

Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford will not play this Saturday against conference foe Kansas. Bradford, who has already missed three games this season, aggravated his already sprained shoulder during the first quarter of last Saturday’s Red River Shootout. Bradford left the game after the injury and never returned to action. No timetable is set for Bradford’s return but he’s expected to see several doctors this week and get opinions of the injury. This season has been very unfortunate for Bradford as...

A chip off the old block

Stillwater is in the running to get the son of a legend. Barry Sanders, Jr. is only a sophomore in high school, but he is already showing signs of his father’s athletic football skills. Barry Sanders is recruiting his son hard to consider Oklahoma State. He takes his son to most of the home games and the little lad seems to be enjoying the pageantry surrounding the program. Let’s Go Moe

Let’s Go Moe

South Carolina gave Alabama a run for its money on Saturday. Unfortunately, they came up short and lost 20-6 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Not only did Spurrier lose a chance to upset the #2 team in the nation, but now he will be without senior captain and star receiver Moe Brown. During the Gamecock’s losing efforts, Brown suffered a game ending concussion. He was hit by two defenders after making an 8 yard grab in the first half. The hit...

Danny Sullivan is the bomb

For my east coast brethren, if you missed the Arizona State v. Washington game, you missed an exciting ending. Danny Sullivan launched a 50 yard cannon with 13 seconds left to play. It was the 4th quarter and the score was knotted at 17-17. Arizona State had the ball on the 50 yard line and everyone including Washington figured the game would go to overtime, but Sullivan thought otherwise. Watch the video and check out Washington’s secondary, they were...
