Dr. Bob picks Oklahoma

#20 Oklahoma 25 #3 Texas (-3.0) 24 Neutral Site: Dallas Over/Under Total: 51.5 09:00 AM Pacific Time Saturday, Oct-17 Oklahoma has lost 2 games already, but Texas has played a weak schedule and they were out-gained 4.8 yards per play to 5.7 yppl by Texas Tech, the only decent team they have faced. The Longhorns also averaged just 4.8 yppl last week against Colorado’s worse than average defense, which does not bode well for them against a very good Oklahoma defense. I don’t...

South Carolina’s run game weakens

South Carolina has a daunting challenge this Saturday as they travel down to Tuscaloosa to face the #2 Crimson Tide. This challenge just got a little tougher as the university just confirmed that RB Jarvis Giles is suspended for the Alabama game. Per the norm, the suspension is for an undisclosed violation of team rules. It remains to be seen the duration of Giles’ suspension. Miami Limping Into Saturday’s Matchup

Miami has impressed the college football world by jumping out to a 4-1 record and have been properly rewarded with a 9th place standing in the current AP poll. What’s been more impressive  is the fact that the Hurricanes have been doing so minus a number of players from their defensive unit. Miami will have to do more of the same this Saturday as they travel to Orlando to take on the Univ. of Central Florida Golden Knights. Miami...

Reynolds To Apply For Medical Redshirt

Reynolds To Apply For Medical Redshirt

Sooner LB Ryan Reynolds has filed the proper paperwork with the NCAA for a medical hardship. The senior tore his ACL in last year’s game against Texas and missed the rest of the season because of it. Reynolds will not hear back from the NCAA until after the season is over, but optimism abounds in Norman. Former OU QB received a medical hardship after sustaining the same injury and missing around the same amount of time as Reynolds. Reynolds has...
