Ole Miss and The Grove will welcome Boise State in 2011
Boise State football’s Knockout Kings road tour will continue in 2011 in Oxford, MS. Boise State and Ole’ Miss have agreed to terms to bring Boise to Mississippi for a SEC/WAC showdown. The Rebels and Broncos will play on college football’s opening weekend in 2011and Ole Miss will pay BSU $900,000 for their trip down south.
Boise State’s athletic department has made it a priority to schedule heavyweights from power conferences like Virginia Tech, Oregon, and Oregon State in a move to gain favor from AP voters who decide Boise’s post-season bowl fate. Hate them or love them, you have to give Boise State their respect for not backing down from competition. The Broncos open their 2010 campaign at FedEx Field in Landover, MD against Virginia Tech on Labor Day.
