Boise State football’s Knockout Kings road tour will continue in 2011 in Oxford, MS.  Boise State and Ole’ Miss have agreed to terms  to bring Boise to Mississippi for a SEC/WAC showdown. The Rebels and Broncos will play on college football’s opening weekend in 2011and Ole Miss will pay BSU $900,000 for their trip down south. Things are getting a little hairy for the Beaver football team. Gas prices in Corvallis, Oregon, apparently are so high that folks are resorting to stealing golf carts for their mode of transportation. Brennan Olander, a 6’1, 276 lb. defensive tackle was arrested along with former Oregon State football players QB Lyle Moevao, and LB Keaton Kristick. RB Jacquizz Rodgers has amassed 161.6 all-purpose yards/game with 15 TDs this season. He is one of the top RBs in the Pac-10. Oregon State WR Darrell Catchings will miss the 2009 college football season with a hand injury. The 5’11, 173 lb. junior was expected to play a huge role in Oregon State’s receiving corp that is very thin after losing key players to graduation. Catchings broke a bone in his right hand that will require surgery to repair.
