Living on a prayer

Most college football seniors enter their final collegiate season with aspirations to play on Sundays. Much to the chagrin of Coach Bob Biggs, U.C. Davis QB Greg Denham is taking a different approach as he enters his senior year. Denham is quitting the team, trading his playbook for the bible. The 6’3 star QB has accumulated strong numbers as a three year starter for the Aggies. He has thrown for 6,435 yards with 46 TDs. He was honored twice...

Even though the redshirt freshman saw some playing time last season with the Tide, he figured he wouldn’t see the field too much with McElroy calling the shots for the defending national champs. Since Jackson transferred to a championship subdivision team he is not required to sit out the 2010 season. It’s not a...

Amato is ready to coach again

Coach Chuck Amato refuses to let his bout with cancer stop him from continuing his passion of coaching college football. The former Florida State assistant coach is doing extremely well and is showing signs of normalcy after tackling months of therapy for a cancerous tumor in his tonsils. Amato is slowly bouncing back from the treatment and is starting to eat solid foods again. Though Coach Chest (Amato’s nickname) lost over 20 pounds during this fight, he has not...
