The NCAA comes downs hard on USC

Though USC has not confirmed the reports, the NCAA is heavily sanctioning the Trojans for their NCAA violations. The sanctions include a two year bowl ban and a loss of more than 20 football scholarships. Additionally, the school may have to forfeit prior victories to include their National Championship season.

USC did not confirm or deny the reports but the school issued a statement saying, “we are looking at things right now. That’s about all I can say.”

It appears the puzzle pieces are falling into place as Bush and Mayo have expressed they did nothing wrong and moved on with their professional careers. Meanwhile, Pete Carroll bolted LaLa Land in January to take over the reigns at Seattle.

If the sanctions are in fact true, the bowl ban will be a huge factor in kids deciding to defect from the program. Welcome to USC Mr. Kiffin, we are all anxious to see how you spin this into something positive.
