Yankee Stadium will be the site for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl which will take place on December 30th., 2010. The Pinstripe Bowl will feature the #3 team from the Big East and the #6 team from the Big XII. According to the New York Daily News, the NCAA and Yankee officials are in talks to possibly bring a bowl game to the new Yankee Stadium as early as the 2011 college football season. This comes on the heels of Army announcing that they will play four regular season games between 2010 and 2014 at the same venue. Army adds more games at Yankee Stadium

According to ESPN, Army has agreed to play three more football games in Yankee stadium in addition to the Notre Dame game scheduled for the fall of 2010. As of now, Army will host Rutgers in 2011, Air Force in 2012, and Boston College in 2014. This is exciting news for the college football community as it is reminiscent of the old tradition of gridiron in Yankee Stadium.
