Be All That You Can Be

South Carolina and Maryland will pay tribute to the US military and its veterans on November 11th. The two teams will wear new school specific camouflage uniforms the Saturday before Veterans Day.  Under Armor is making the uniforms which will include a Wounded Warrior Project patch, words like courage, honor, and integrity will be placed on the backs of the jerseys instead of the player’s name as well. DB Carroll is finished for the season

Another game that set the conference back was Cal thumping Maryland 52-13. The ACC did have some close games that came down to 4th quarter...

Maryland’s Ralph Friedgen was battling Kansas coach Mark Mangino for the heaviest coach alive title last season. Don’t look now but the Fridge has dropped 105 lbs since the off-season courtesy of his new diet. Friedgen weighed well over 300 lbs. at one point and says he started the diet to prevent health concern complications that come along with being overweight as he gets older. The Fridge’s diet consist of eating 5 portions of packaged meals daily, along with snacks such as fruit....

Since 1992, Florida State and Virginia Tech have won a combined 15 ACC titles. Since Florida State and VaTech represent the Atlantic and Coastal divisions respectively, there is a good chance the two teams will meet in the ACC title game. But before I discuss that game, let's look at some of the teams who will make some...
