Houston football coach Kevin Sumlin received a late Christmas gift earlier this week. Fresh off the heels of one of Houston’s best football seasons, Sumlin was awarded a contract extension that will keep him at Houston through the 2015 season. The most wonderful time of the year is here. It’s the moment that we’ve all waited 4 months for. The 2009/2010 college football bowl season begins today at 4:30PM with Fresno State and Wyoming meeting up in Albuquerque for the New Mexico Bowl. Fresno St. brings a 8-4 record into the game while Wyoming limps in after going 6-6 in the regular season.
