Catchings (#15) Sidelined For The Year With Injury
Oregon State WR Darrell Catchings will miss the 2009 college football season with a hand injury. The 5’11, 173 lb. junior was expected to play a huge role in Oregon State’s receiving corp that is very thin after losing key players to graduation. Catchings broke a bone in his right hand that will require surgery to repair. The loss of Catchings will hurt OSU’s passing attack but they have several other candidates that will step up and fill the void left by his absence.
