Miami has impressed the college football world by jumping out to a 4-1 record and have been properly rewarded with a 9th place standing in the current AP poll. What’s been more impressive is the fact that the Hurricanes have been doing so minus a number of players from their defensive unit. Miami will have to do more of the same this Saturday as they travel to Orlando to take on the Univ. of Central Florida Golden Knights. Miami defensive end Eric Moncur and safety Randy Phillips are nursing injuries this week and will not play this weekend. Moncur suffered a right leg injury, while Phillips is recovery from an arm injury.
While this news is bad for Miami, they’ve found a way this season to play through many injuries and win. Barring an upset, Saturday night should not be an exception.
