Sooner LB Ryan Reynolds has filed the proper paperwork with the NCAA for a medical hardship. The senior tore his ACL in last year’s game against Texas and missed the rest of the season because of it. Reynolds will not hear back from the NCAA until after the season is over, but optimism abounds in Norman. Former OU QB received a medical hardship after sustaining the same injury and missing around the same amount of time as Reynolds.
Reynolds has been a force on defense this season accumulating 18 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception. He’s hoping to exact his revenge against the team that tore his ACL as the Sooners battle the Longhorns in this year’s Red River Shootout this Saturday.
