2010 FIFA World Cup

That’s right, Soccer and Vanzetti.  Not Sacco and Vanzetti, the two Italian immigrants from the 1920’s who were wrongly convicted and executed in the Boston area for murder.  That’s a whole other discussion that gets me going.  No, here we’re talking soccer.  True, soccer has had its share of injustices (Hand of God being of course the prime example) but this new column is going to help your Ferrari (that’s what the women in the motherland call it anyway)...

Do you really want more Pizza! Pizza!?

The Little Caesars Pizza Bowl confirmed where it ranks as one of the lowest tiered bowl games possible. The organizers have come to an agreement with the Big 10 and Mid-American conference (MAC) for the next four bowl seasons. Presumably to build up anticipation, the committee announced that the bowl game will feature the Big 10 8th seed (No. 8 Big 10 bowl eligible team) against either the No. 1 MAC or No. 2 MAC team. Leadership in Manhattan, Kansas recently took a big fall. Kansas State’s second term head coach Bill Snyder tore his ACL and MCL during spring practice on Thursday. Stephens’ Volatile Move

Stephens’ Volatile Move

Today was no ordinary day for once anticipated starting QB Nick Stephens. Just last week, Stephens assumed he would be the starting QB, the big man on campus, and hopefully lead the Vols to an SEC championship. Unfortunately, he just woke up from this fantasy dream. Tennessee’s new head coach, Derek Dooley, announced yesterday that Nick Stephens was no longer a Vol. Last week, Stephens was slated to be the Vols starting QB with Matt Simms as the understudy. However, after a poor scrimmage, coach Dooley decided...
