Bama's Mark Ingram to return this week

Alabama Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram will make his first appearance of the season this Saturday when Alabama visits the Duke Blue Devils. Ingram sat out of Alabama’s first two games of the season after undergoing knee surgery on August 31st. Ingram has participated in drills and has practiced all week for the Tide, making his return against Duke imminent. While Ingram is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, back-up RB Trent Richardson has a few in Tuscaloosa murmuring about a RB controversy. In games against San Jose State and Penn State this season, Richardson has rushed for 210 yards and 3 touchdowns. Last week, he rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown against No.18 Penn State.

Nick Saban will have some decisions to make concerning Richardson and Ingram. With arguably the best RB tandem in the nation, Bama will ideally want both backs on the field at the same time.
