Alabama Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram will make his first appearance of the season this Saturday when Alabama visits the Duke Blue Devils. Ingram sat out of Alabama’s first two games of the season after undergoing knee surgery on August 31st. Ingram has participated in drills and has practiced all week for the Tide, making his return against Duke imminent. The Crimson Tide’s depth chart at RB took a hit this week. Sophomore RB Jeramie Griffin tore his ACL during a Tuesday night practice on turf. The team was practicing in its brand new in-door facility with new turf. The injury occured during non-contact drills.
