JoePa’s Coming to D.C.

Penn St. and Indiana University have agreed to play a conference game in the Nation’s Capitol next season. The two will face off in a Big Ten contest at Washington’s FedEx Field on November 20th, 2010. The original game was to be played at Indiana but a nice 3 million dollar payout was enough to change IU’s mind. The game is sure to attract a number of Penn St. fans as many alumni live in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Penn St. has quite a...

As the Buckeyes take the field against Navy on September 5th, 2009 at The Shoe, fans are encouraged to “rise to your feet and cheer” the Midshipmen.

The “Fan Can” is Back

If you live in the state of Iowa, you best hit your beer distributors ASAP. Bud Light has released its unsanctioned promotional cans of red and gold for Iowa State (in Ames) and black and gold for the University of Iowa (in Iowa City).  The cans are being released coincidentally at the same time students are returning back to school. How serious is Hampton’s knee injury?

Iowa’s RB Jewel Hampton was slated to fill the shoes of NFL bound Shonn Greene. However, there is still uncertainty regarding his knee. Hampton has not been practicing with the team and coach Ferentz stated he is going to stay off his leg for “a little bit.” During Kids Day at Kinnick stadium this past Saturday, Hampton was wearing a sleeve on his right knee and appeared to be in good spirits, but not moving well. The question remains,...
