Former PSU DT Abe Koroma (#95) will be making stops for the Leathernecks this season

Abe Koroma hails from Milton Hershey High School. A school designed to help nurture and educate children in social and financial need to lead to a fulfilling and productive life. Upon graduation, Koroma joined Penn State and the Nittany Lions to continue his path for success. Unfortunately for Abe, his tenure at PSU has come to an end.

Koroma, a projected starter at defensive tackle, was having some personal issues that lead to his dismissal from the team. JoePa even thought Koroma wouldn’t play for the Nittany Lions again. However, his punishment did not keep Koroma down as he just transferred to Western Illinois.

When asked about his selection, Koroma said he considered other D-1 programs, but wanted to play now and not sit out a year. Western Illinois seemed to be a perfect fit.

At 6-3 317lbs, Koroma will certainly make an immediate impact with the Leathernecks.

Good luck to you Abe. I see that your lessons learned at Milton are paying off–to never quit. Here at The Matador, we wish you all the success.
