Senior LB Dustin Doe (6’0, 231lbs) has been suspended by the Gators for his most recent run-in with the law. Doe was arrested on Thursday for driving on a suspended license which is a first-degree misdemeanor. His license was suspended for failing to pay a traffic ticket on time. Doe ultimately paid the fine, but he was unaware that he was then required to pay a late fee in order to have his license reinstated. Without paying the reinstatement fee, the...

Kinney Rucker is Out

It looks like Duke is taking another hit. Senior and Durham native DT Kinney Rucker  (6-2, 290 lbs) is out indefinitely with an injured foot. Rucker is coming off of surgery last month by Dr. Mark Easley to repair a torn planter plate in his right foot. Last season Rucker had 21 tackles and was expected to back up Vince Oghobaase. Trojans land top QB Recruit

It looks like USC lands top rated recruit Jesse Scroggin  from Lakewood, Calif. Under Armour All-American quarterback Scroggin had his pick of schools from Florida to Tennessee; however, he ended up staying close to home as he announced on ESPN his intentions to play for Pete Carroll  and the USC Trojans. Scroggins’ (6-2/189lbs) decision came down to location, family, and friends. Lakewood is a small Los Angeles community near Long Beach and Anaheim. Also, he has friends that play for USC and...

The Orange back down from Virginia Tech

Syracuse had an abysmal 3-9 record last season. Their highlight was a surprise victory at Notre Dame 24-23. With Doug Marrone stepping in as head coach, he is making an immediate change with the team’s schedule. As of past, the Orange have scheduled some very difficult teams and their record is reflecting the consequence. This season, they open up with the Big 10 against Minnesota, at Penn State, then Northwestern. Probably not the best scheduling decision by athletic director Rob Edson. To...
