It looks like USC lands top rated recruit Jesse Scroggin from Lakewood, Calif. Under Armour All-American quarterback Scroggin had his pick of schools from Florida to Tennessee; however, he ended up staying close to home as he announced on ESPN his intentions to play for Pete Carroll and the USC Trojans.
Scroggins’ (6-2/189lbs) decision came down to location, family, and friends. Lakewood is a small Los Angeles community near Long Beach and Anaheim. Also, he has friends that play for USC and his current teammate, Dion Bailey , is heading there too.
USC currently ranks 13th in recruiting for its 2010 class.
