Tim Tebow, wedding crasher

Tim Tebow was in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, this weekend to sign autographs for his south Florida fans. However, the University of Florida’s version of Britain’s Winston Churchill made one couple’s visit one that they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. An enamored, slightly obsessed, Tebow fan enlisted the former Gator quarterback’s assistance with proposing to his soon to be wife. It’s hard to to tell who’s happier, the fiance or her future husband. Watch the video,...

Throwing up a prayer

Tim Tebow’s buzz right now is bigger than Barack Obama’s was on January 20th, 2009. The man could probably challenge Marco Rubio (R-FL), the current leader in the Florida Senate race, and win. However, it seems as if Tebow might have stepped on a few toes during testing at the 2010 NFL combine in Indianapolis earlier this month. According to Pro Football Talk, Tebow apparently offended another NFL hopeful during the administering of the Wonderlic Test. Before the test was handed...

Paulus is confident he could take down Clausen, et al.

Greg Paulus was most recently featured on the Dan Patrick Show. For about 10 minutes, Patrick, in true form, blitzed Paulus about both basketball and football. He was pushing Paulus to see if he would say anything negative about Coach K and Duke. He even put Paulus on the spot by asking who has a better basketball team, Syracuse or Duke. But the real interest was his response about whether or not he is a better QB than Tim Tebow, Sam...

Tebow’s penmanship earns thousands in one day

In a prior post, we discussed at length the absurdity of the amount Tim Tebow was charging for his autograph. Whichever side of the coin you fell on, this guy pictured above clearly thought it was worth every penny, $235 to be exact  ($160 for the autograph plus $75 for the Heisman picture). The pictured fan wasn’t the only one who couldn’t wait for the big day. On Saturday, the fans came out in droves to meet and greet the great Tim Tebow. One of the more unique items Tim...

In the words of Gordon Gekko: Greed is Good

In an act of unprecedented greed, Florida alum Tim Tebow is going to charge $160.00 to sign autographs and pose for photos on Saturday, March 6, at Palm Beach Autographs, Avenues Mall from 1-5 p.m. So for all you kids who have been saving your allowance and bullying your friends for their lunch money, Saturday is the big day to help Tebow cash in. There is speculation that Tebow’s throwing mechanics are not improving and his NFL stock is dwindling....

Monday Morning Quarterback

It’s Monday morning and I’m still recovering from the exciting USA v. Canada hockey game. So while I regroup, I thought I would leave you with some interesting news from this past weekend. First off, a moment of silence for Minnesota State University’s Ben Bundy, a sophomore offensive lineman who passed away at age 20. A message to all athletes–NEVER, and I do mean NEVER, post comments about your head coach on a public social networking site. Oregon’s Jamere...

Mallett breaks foot, will miss spring practice

QB Ryan Mallett’s road to gridiron fame just hit another bump. This time, a broken bone in his left foot is sidelining the gunslinger during spring practice. As a top prospect in 2007, Mallett was supposed to shine for Michigan’s Lloyd Carr and did show signs of greatness while backing up then future NFLer Chad Henne. However, after Carr retired and Rich Rodriguez stepped in and introduced his spread offense to the maize and blue, Mallett quickly left the...

Tebow To Be Grand Marshal At Daytona Race

Gator God Tim Tebow will serve as Grand Marshal for the Gatorade Duels (Daytona 500’s qualifying event). Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew will serve as Marshal as well. Make no mistake though, Tebow will be the crowd favorite. Fresh off of his acting debut, this is just another stop on the 2007 Heisman winner’s guest appearance circuit. While serving as Grand Marshal is good for Tebow’s PR campaign, one can’t help but think that this downtime should be used...
