Rodriguez denies violations

The Detroit Free Press is investigating whether or not the University of Michigan football team violated NCAA rules governing off-season team workouts. Numerous football players have come forward and told the Free Press, under conditions of anonymity, that training and practice sessions exceeded the NCAA limits. Michigan’s Rich Rodriguez is continuing to lose control of his team. Two more players have requested permission to transfer out of Michigan and to look into other football programs. LB Marell Evans (Jr. 6’3, 221 lbs.) and DT Vince Helmuth (6’1, 261 lbs.), both have put in their request to leave the team and explore other options. Today, there was another blow to Rich Rodriguez and the Michigan Wolverines. The teamĀ  announced the dismissal of Deerfield, Florida native Justin Feagin (So. 6’0, 198lbs) for a violation of team rules. Feagin was Rodriguez’s first quarterback recruit.
